JDC Awarded ABS HSQE Certification

ABS recently presented its Marine Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Certificate of Company Compliance (HSQE CCC) to Japan Drilling Company Ltd. (JDC) at its Tokyo Head Office. Japan Drilling Company (JDC) has become the first offshore drilling operator in the Pacific to be awarded ABS’ Marine Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Certificate.

JDC currently operates a fleet of semisubmersibles and jackup rigs. With this certification, JDC has demonstrated it has established and maintained a management system that meets the applicable requirements of the ABS HSQE Standards which include the requirements of the ISM Code, ISO 9001 Standard, ISO14001 Standard and OHSA 18001 Standard.
