Together with these representatives, ABS has also recently expanded its offshore operational team with the appointment of Dave Forsyth as Assistant Chief Surveyor for Offshore Worldwide as well as Divisional Lead Offshore surveyors. In a companion move, Arturo Revenga has been appointed Assistant Chief Engineer for Offshore Worldwide.
Project Management
An essential part of the strengthened ABS offshore services is the new project management structure that has been initiated to support large new construction and major modification projects. Project managers serve as the communication and coordination link between all those involved including the designer, shipyard, owner, vendors, flag Administration and ABS’ engineers, surveyors, financial services and senior management.
