ABS was among the 200-plus exhibitors at the Luanda International Trade Fair (FILDA) in Angola. The expansion of oil and gas fields offshore West Africa has created opportunities for classification services. ABS has an office in Luanda with dedicated survey staff.
Most notably ABS was awarded the class contract for the newbuild
Agbami FPSO destined for offshore Nigeria with first oil targeted in 2008.
