Who do I contact if I have a question/problem with ABS SafeNet * ?

Please have the following available when reporting a problem:

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Version of software (Located at Help>About SafeNet)
  • Company name
  • ABS Worldwide Client Number [WCN- if available]
  • Address
  • Your name, phone number, email
  • Are you the Safenet Administrator for your company?

COMPUTER INFORMATION

  • Operating System of computer having the problem (Windows 95, 98 etc.)
  • What version of Internet Explorer are you running? (Must be version 5.5 or higher)

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

  • If an error, report specific message.
  • When did the problem start occurring?
  • Does the problem occur every time or occasionally?
  • Have any other problems with the system been observed?
  • Has any hardware and/or software been added and/or removed recently?
  • Identify any steps that have been taken to correct the problem

What are the end-user requirements?

Microsoft Windows PC Users:
• Microsoft® Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 5 or 6 (Service Pack 6 recommended), Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional or Home Edition
• 64 MB of RAM
• 30 MB of available hard disk space
• Web browser support: Internet Explorer 5.5 or above
• Viewing/Printing PDF files: Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or above

Macintosh Users:
• PowerPCR processor
• Apple® Mac® OS 9.1 or above
• 64 MB of RAM
• 30 MB of available hard disk space
• HFS formatted hard drive
• Web browser support: Netscape Navigator 4.7 or above
• Viewing/Printing PDF files: Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or above

Internet Connection All Users:
• 56k modem or faster supported by matching line speed
• Problems with viewing ABS SafeNet web pages are known to occur over slow voice phone line dial-up connections (line speed below 45 kbps). In such cases, it is recommended to upgrade to a broadband connection (T1, ISDN, Cable Modem, DSL etc) if possible.
