Hosted by the U.S. Minerals Management Service (MMS) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), the three-day event was modeled after other successful MMS-supported workshops over the last decade. The MMS workshop structure facilitated maximum interface among the several work groups addressing issues including design, installation, risk, inspection/leak detection, integrity, repair and permitting.
