illiam J. Lind, ABS Director of Engineering, participates in a media conference
hosted by EnerSea Transport LLC at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston in May, 2003. Also pictured are Paul Britton, P.E., Managing Director, EnerSea; H. Yasui, Director, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. ("K" Line); and I. Y. Chung, Senior Executive Vice President and COO, Marketing Division, Hyundai Heavy Industries Company, Ltd. (HHI).

EnerSea selected ABS to provide class “approval in principle” for its VOTRANS (Volume Optimized Transport & Storage) compressed natural gas vessel concept. This novel approach to CNG transport makes remote, deepwater natural gas more economical to develop when infrastructure is lacking and LNG transport is impractical. EnerSea has also selected the risk management and risk assessment services of ABS Consulting, Inc.
