Recently, EM&I (Marine) Ltd., an engineering firm in Aberdeen, Scotland, purchased a powerful software module offered by ABS Nautical Systems (NS) to monitor the hull of the Anasuria FPSO. A six-year-old purpose-built FPSO in the North Sea, the Anasuria is owned by Shell UK Limited and operated by Halliburton Brown & Root.
ABS NS will provide the electronic record keeping of the survey results and maintain information on the condition of the hull electronically.
