Maritime Safety Committee's 71st Session
May 1999

The 71st Session of the Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) met from 17 – 28 May 1999 in London and adopted a number of amendments to the SOLAS Convention. Also, several guidelines in terms of MSC Circulars, as well as draft Assembly resolutions for adoption later this year, were approved.
